Finding the perfect nude.

I come bearing the news that- I've done it, ladies and gentlemen. I have found it. The perfect nude.
Now, if you're in the know, you'll know that finding the perfect nude for you is a bit like finding a unicorn-it pretty much is impossible, but it's magical when you do. The perfect nude- not too pink, not too brown, not too shiny or too drying. Sheer perfection when done right, the nude lip is a timeless classical that will suit any look, any outfit, any occasion.

Now, I have pale skin, auburn hair, and teeth that are naturally yellow tinted (thanks for that, world) no matter what I do. Given those circumstances, I have to be careful, for fear that a mere swipe of lipstick could transform me into Rumpelstiltskin from Once Upon a Time. But, after carefully going through years of trial and error, I have come up with my perfect nude, and the second place runner up, which is a shade I'm pretty sure would suit everyone.

The first shade is my first place beauty, the magical Collection Privee by Julianne. Possibly a limited edition collection, so get your hands on some quickly! The collection has a collection of six shades from six different ladies, all celebrities, of course. Being naturally fair and red headed, like myself (alas, I don't have her acting skills. Nor have I starred in a movie with Ryan Gosling. I wish) I figured Julianne Moore's shade would work for me, and I was right. 

Glossy, but not overly. Moisturising, not drying. Pink, but not candyfloss, and just the right amount of brown. Ladies, do yourself a favour and take a dander through the L'OREAL lipstick selection.

The runner up for the perfect nude is a tricky little thing. It has almost lilac undertones, but somehow it comes firmly under the nude category. A balm stain with guaranteed staying power, the only problem with this baby is that it is quite drying. Nonetheless, it's shade is definitely the winner of most versatile, as-in my opinion- it is the sort of nude to suit all. My friends, meet Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the shade 001, Honey Douce.
